Pessaries for rectocele

A rectocele is a weakening of the bowel wall which descends into the vagina. There are many reasons why women experience a rectocele. Childbirth, long periods of constipation, straining and other factors all of which should be discussed with your doctor.
Splinting pessaries are particularly helpful when treating a rectocele.
Pessaries to treat rectocele's can also be used in cases where there are multiple prolapses such as a cystocele and uterine prolapse. (with the exception of the T Pessaries, these are not suitable if you have a uterine prolapse.
