Gynaecology

Vaginal pessaries were introduced many years ago to treat incompetence of the pelvic floor (genital prolapse, urinary incontinence). Pessaries are now being widely use to treat cervical incompetence and so prevent premature delivery, Pelvic Organ Prolapse and incontinence issues

Our pessaries are made from tissue tolerant non-allergic silicone and do not contain latex.

Pessaries can be autoclaved.

Pessary placement provides an important therapeuthic option for the management of pelvic organ disease because surgery with anaesthesia is avoided and cost is minimal.

We strongly recommend you seek medical help if you are showing signs of incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. The longer you wait the worse it may become.
