Göttingen Inflatable Pessary

Göttingen Inflatable Pessary is easily inserted, designed for prolapse and incontinence where the pelvic floor is too weak to support other pessaries. Göttingen Inflatable Pessary supports the pelvic floor muscles and still allows for kegel exercises to be carried out.Göttingen Inflatable Pessary supports the urethra.

Can be easily fitted by a medical professional or the patient herself.

The inflatable pessary is designed for patients with severe prolapse of the vagina and/or the uterus of whom the pelvic floor is too weak to support ring pessaries or for patients who cannot handle the standard models.

The Göttinger Inflatable Pessary is ideal for incontinece issues where there is presence of a prolapse  gently lifting and supporting the pelvic floor.

The effect is based on the improvement of the detrusor function of the bladder by supporting the pelvic floor and applying light support to the urethra.

The Göttinger Inflatable Pessary consists of 3 parts:

• The pessary (end piece)
• A valve
• A balloon pump to inflate the pessary

It should be removed, washed and reinserted on a daily basis
